What is Soufflé?

Soufflé is a popular dessert of French cuisine, originally called "soufflé" meaning "blow" or "whisper". Have you ever wondered about the story of how soufflé came into being? It all started in 1918 when a theater enthusiast named Joseph Gueyden bought a French bakery. Joseph, who could not calculate the cooking time exactly, thought he had made a mistake by taking the chocolate cake out of the oven early and was disappointed, but when he tasted it, he realized that he had created a new flavor out of the ordinary. This delicious dessert, the recipe of which he found by chance, received full marks from his friends in the theater. After he passed away in his bakery one day, the 'wet cake' was named 'Soufflé' in memory of Joseph Gueyden. Its story is beautiful, but isn't it even more beautiful? What about gluten-free and refined sugar-free soufflé? It is great for those with gluten sensitivity and it sounds very nice. Our healthy and delicious soufflé will leave a pleasant taste on your palate, we are confident.

Ingredients for soufflé include peanut butter, tahini, molasses, chocolate, vanilla, coffee, chestnuts, bananas, apples, oranges, and lemons. Today, we will make a chocolate and oat flour soufflé.

We undoubtedly love foods and desserts that contain sugar. However, such foods usually contain gluten, sugar and artificial sweeteners. This can be disturbing for most of us. Today, we will make a gluten-free and sugar-free French delicacy, Soufflé, that you can consume with peace of mind with the ingredients we use.

Without further ado, let's start answering the question of how we can make a gluten-free, sugar-free and delicious Soufflé in our own kitchen at home by listing the ingredients.

Here you go:

Ingredients Needed for Oatmeal Soufflé Recipe

80 grams Organic Gluten-Free Oat Flour

1 teaspoon Baking Powder

4 tablespoons of date pulp (= half a coffee cup)

1/2 tea glass Organic Coconut Milk

2 squares of chocolate

How to Make Oatmeal Soufflé?

We add oat flour and baking powder to a deep bowl.

Then add the date pulp and coconut milk and whisk with a fork or small whisk.

Let's pour 90% of the mixture into our soufflé dish.

Let's add 1 square of sugar-free organic chocolate in between and cover it with the remaining mixture.

Optionally, you can decorate the top by breaking chocolate.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 17-20 minutes. (We recommend cooking for 16 minutes for a more liquid soufflé, and 20 minutes for a cake consistency.)

Enjoy your meal.

Tips for Oatmeal Soufflé

It is important that the ingredients, especially the coconut milk, are at room temperature.

Your oven should be preheated for the soufflé to rise better.

If you are not going to cook the soufflé mixture immediately, you can store it in the refrigerator for 4-5 days or in the freezer for 1 year.

We recommend that you consume the soufflé fresh and hot to prevent the chocolate from losing its fluidity.
