- Boil the quinoa with a pinch of black pepper, red pepper powder, turmeric, salt and two crushed garlic cloves in a pot with 1 to 2 drinking water for 15 minutes, mix gently and let it sit for 6 minutes.
- Cook the finely chopped carrots and leeks in a pan with light olive oil for 5 minutes.
- Put the chia seeds in a mortar and pound them until they become flour.
- Put these 3 mixtures in a bowl and mix well.
- Shape it with your hands, add half of the mixture to your hot pan with olive oil and cook your burger for 5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Place the resulting burger between the bread slices.
Tips for Vegan Burgers:
- Use quinoa seeds after washing them in plenty of water to remove their bitter taste.
- Soak the quinoa seeds in water for about an hour before boiling.
