Tips for Vegan Banana Bread
- The degree of ripeness of the bananas is important. Ripe bananas will make your bread sweeter and you will not have to use refined sugar. Check for brown spots on the bananas to understand that they are ripe enough.
- If you want to get a nice and fluffy bread, do not mix your dough too much. If you mix it slowly from bottom to top with a spatula instead of a mixer, you will have a bread that is soft on the inside and not dry.
- Do not remove your bread from the oven until you check that it is fully cooked. Ovens may have different baking times. Although we give an approximate time, trust your own experience.
- After removing the banana bread from the oven, you need to wait for it to cool completely. Since the banana puree inside is combined with the dough, it may tend to caramelize. Waiting at least 15-20 minutes before removing your bread from the baking pan will give you better results.
