  • 1 tablespoon sweetener
  • 1 pinch of sea salt

  • Soak the chia seeds in half a glass of drinking water for 30 minutes. If you stir them occasionally, you will prevent the chia seeds from sticking together.
  • Meanwhile, chop your apples, dates and cashews very finely.
  • Blend all ingredients except chia thoroughly with half a glass of water.
  • Add your puffed chia seeds to this mixture and mix in a bowl.
  • Let your mixture sit covered in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Spread this mixture very thinly on the baking paper with a spatula.
  • Bake in your oven preheated to 180 degrees for at least 50 minutes.
  • After removing it from the oven, cut it into the desired size before it cools down.
  • Chop the fruits into small pieces, place them inside the fruit roll and roll them up like a wrap. Make a few cuts in between so the fruits can come out.

  • The measurements here will yield approximately 4 strips of base, depending on the size.
  • Since the drying time may vary in each oven, check the pestil. If it is not sticky and separates from the baking paper, it means the pestil is ready.
