Ingredients Needed for Quinoa and Gluten-Free Vegetable Fritters:

  • 3 zucchinis
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 tablespoons of boiled organic quinoa
  • 3 tablespoons quinoa flour
  • 3 spring onions
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of parsley
  • 1 pinch of dill
  • 2 tablespoons of organic olive oil

How to Make Quinoa and Vegetable Patties?

  • We grate the zucchini and carrots and combine them.
  • We squeeze the juice of this mixture and put the pulp into the pan.
  • We chop the onion, parsley and dill finely.
  • We also add our onion mixture to the pan.
  • We fry it for 15 minutes on medium heat with a little oil.
  • When it cools down, add organic quinoa, quinoa flour, egg and salt and mix well.
  • We roll the mixture in our hands, place it on the tray and press it lightly.
  • We bake it in the oven at 150 degrees until it turns golden brown (about 40 minutes).

Tips for Homemade Quinoa Vegetable Patties

  • Use organic quinoa seeds after washing them in plenty of water to remove their natural bitter taste.
  • After grating the vegetables and getting them ready for the fritters, don't forget to squeeze them gently in your palm to remove excess water, this way you can get the consistency right and ensure that the inside cooks well in the oven.
  • Be sure to add fresh herbs and spices to flavor the fritters.
  • Do not cut the fritters immediately after taking them out of the oven. Let them rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes before slicing and serving.

What other ingredients can be added to the Gluten-Free Quinoa Fritters Recipe?

  • Be sure to add organic hot chili red pepper powder, organic black peppercorns , organic white peppercorns , organic cumin , organic turmeric powder , fresh mint, and basil to your zucchini mixture to enhance the flavor.
