- 1/2 cup gluten-free oatmeal
- 1 organic egg
So how do we make this healthy, homemade apple pie?
Gluten-Free Apple Pie Recipe
Mix the egg, coconut flour, half of our walnuts, vanilla, 1 spoon of cinnamon, coconut oil, salt and nutmeg with a mixer until it becomes a soft mixture and we obtain a dough.
We combine the apples with apple juice concentrate, half a tablespoon of coconut oil, the remaining walnuts, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon and cloves and cook them until they are not mushy.
To create the crumbly appearance on top of the tart, we rub the coconut flour and apple juice concentrate together with our hands until they stick together and form a ball.
- After opening the base in the kitchen set, we place it in a greased glass container and spread it evenly.
- After the apple filling we prepared has cooled, we pour it into the container.
- We sprinkle the crumble we prepared for the top evenly over the apples.
- We cook in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
Tips for a Gluten-Free, Healthy Homemade Apple Pie Recipe:
The thinner the dough we make for the base and the more apples we have, the more delicious our dessert will be. The apples should be cooked very well, slowly and on low heat, they should absorb their water and have a puree-like consistency.
