  • 1 cup 3-color mixed quinoa flour
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of flaxseed
  • 1 teaspoon rock or sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1 tea glass of olive oil
  • 1 tea glass of yoghurt
  • A handful of walnuts
  • A handful of raisins

How to Make Quinoa Flour Bread?

  • Add salt to 1 glass of water and mix well.
  • Pour chia seeds into the water, continue mixing. Leave in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  • Mix the quinoa flour and all the ingredients (except the walnuts and raisins) thoroughly until you have a dough-like consistency. Add water if necessary and knead until you reach a soft dough consistency.
  • After kneading, add walnuts and raisins and mix some more.
  • Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise slightly on the radiator.
  • Divide the risen dough into small rounds and place them on wax paper.
  • Turn the oven on for 3-5 minutes at the lowest temperature, then turn it off, put the dough in the oven and let it rise for 20 minutes.
  • Bake in the oven at 150 degrees for about 20 minutes. Enjoy your meal.

Tips for Quinoa Flour Bread

  • Gluten-free flour mixtures generally require thorough kneading with plenty of water. Kneading the dough by hand should be avoided as much as possible. The dough should be kneaded hard due to its structure. The dough should not be dry or dehydrated during kneading. If you have a home or industrial dough kneading machine, it is delicious.
  • You can also bake your white flourless bread in a mold in a home oven; if you don't have a bread mold, you can bake it in a cast iron pan or pot by steaming it with a spray bottle. Set the oven temperature to 220 degrees. You can apply high heat for the first few minutes to create the crispy part on your bread, then gradually reduce the heat to 150 degrees and complete the baking process.
